The Trailer Of The Year's Much Awaited Christmas Release Proiapati 2 Unveiled

The wait is finally over. Dey Entertainment Ventures and Bengal Talkies today unveiled the trailer of the much-anticipated Christmas release, Projapati 2 starring two of the biggest stars from the industry, the legend, Mithun Chakraborty and the megastar, Dev in key roles. The trailer launched today in the presence of the lead cast & crew members including Director Avijit Senn & Presenter Atanu Raychaudhuri on behalf of Bengal Talkies, offers audiences a heartfelt glimpse into a story tha bridged generations, continents, and emotions. The movie also some of the best-known actors from the Bengali Film Industry including Anirban Chakrabarti, Jyotirmoyee Kundu, Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Kanchan Mullick, Shakuntala Barua & Idhika Paul among others.

Projapati 2 sheds light on Joy, played by Dev, now settled in London, as he navigated the challenges of professional life while raising his young daughter, played by the child artist Anumegha Kahali, as a single father. Despite the physical distance from home, Joy's values, passions, and commitment to family remained deeply rooted.

Facing the emotional and practical challenges of parenthood abroad, Joy invited his father, Gaur Chakraborty, played by Mithun Chakraborty, from Kolkata to London. This reunion brought together three generations under one roof, unfolding moments of warmth, conflict, rediscovery and unconditional love. The trailer highlights themes of parental sacrifice, evolving relationships and the enduring bond between father and son.

Projapati 2 has Sujay Datta Ray as the Editor, Subhankar Bhar as the DOP, Ananda Addhya as the Art Director, Adip Singh Manky as the Sound Designers and Rajarshi Mukherjee & Jayanti Sen as the Costume Designers. Jeet Gannguli has composed the songs for the movie. Script & Dialogues are by Subhadip Das.

Projapati 2 is schedulec for a theatrical release on December 25, 2025 across various multiplexes and single screens in West Bengal.
