The event began with an audio-visual presentation where contemporary artists, composers, lyricists, and directors of Salil Chowdhury's time - from Dwijen Mukherjee to Gulzar - who knew him intimately and worked with him, shared their heartfelt recollections and memories. Alongside them, star fans of today's generation, from Tanmoy Bose to Srijato, also reverently recalled the unparalleled contribution of this great artist.

Following this, Salil Chowdhury's daughter Antara Chowdhury, and artists Srikanta Acharya and Kalyan Sen Barat highlighted various aspects of Salil Chowdhury's life, music, and philosophy - and sang meaningful songs in tribute to his memory.

Finally, the 'Salil Chowdhury Swarnanjali' gold coin was formally unveiled by Antara Chowdhury, Srikanta Acharya, and Kalyan Sen Barat -- accompanied by Directors of Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers, Arpita Saha and Rupak Saha.

Antara Chowdhury said, "I am truly delighted to unveil the Salil Chowdhury Swarnanjali gold coin on the occasion of my father's birth centenary. I sincerely thank Shyam Sundar Co. Jewellers for being by our side in this special endeavor and for comprehensively supporting our memorial projects."

Srikanta Acharya and Kalyan Sen Barat spoke passionately in their addresses about Salil Chowdhury's greatness, musical philosophy, and uniqueness - creating a golden, nostalgic atmosphere at the event instantly.
