‘Jaatra Shubho Hok’ Sets the Journey in Motion: First Song from Vijaynagar’er Hirey Unveiled

Following the enthusiastic response to the teaser of Vijaynagar’er Hirey, the makers have unveiled the film’s first song, “Jaatra Shubho Hok”, marking the beginning of a brand-new adventure in the iconic Kakababu universe.

A stirring journey anthem at heart, “Jaatra Shubho Hok” beautifully captures the spirit of exploration, anticipation, and companionship. Composed by Indraadip Dasgupta, with lyrics by Prasen and soulful vocals by Durnibar Saha, the song sets the emotional and narrative tone of the film. Visually, it traces the journey of Kakababu (Prosenjit Chatterjee) alongside Santu (Aryann Bhowmik) and Jojo (Pushan Dasgupta) as they embark on their expedition towards Hampi, offering audiences a tantalising glimpse into the adventure that lies ahead.

The song was unveiled at a special event held at Aditya Academy Group of Schools and Aditya School of Sports, under the Aditya Group, lending the launch a fitting backdrop that echoed the film’s spirit of curiosity, learning, and exploration.

Speaking at the launch, Prosenjit Chatterjee shared, “Every Kakababu journey begins with a sense of purpose and curiosity, and ‘Jaatra Shubho Hok’ captures that feeling perfectly. It’s not just a song—it’s an emotion that signals the start of an adventure. I believe the audience will connect deeply with its spirit of discovery and togetherness.”

The song launch event was attended by Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aryann Bhowmik, Pushan Dasgupta, along with the entire cast and crew of the film. To symbolically mark the beginning of the film’s journey towards its theatrical release, the team released a bunch of balloons, celebrating adventure, optimism, and the collective excitement surrounding the film.

Taking the celebration beyond the launch venue, the same balloon-flying activity was simultaneously conducted across multiple cinema halls, bringing audiences closer to the moment. The celebrations took place at SVF Cinemas, Krishnanagar; SVF Cinemas, Hooghly; Nazrultirtha Cinema, Kolkata; SVF Cinemas, Baruipur; SVF Cinemas, Howrah; Vidyasagar Mancha – SVF Cinemas, Kalyani; SVF Cinemas, Narendrapur; and Udayan Cinema, Tarakeswar.
